The Island

I saw the movie The Island last night and it was good. Fast paced, lots of action, good story and good actors. It had a Bladerunner quaility to it that I liked, I agree with Muggsy who posted on my blog and said why is Hollywood producing so much TV programs turned to movie shit, Bewitched, Dukes of Hazzard, etc. etc..
Well The Island is a good film if you like action, sci-fi and cool chases.

The Book Of Liz

I make no bones about the fact I'm only listing fringe show's that I've seen and so far I've only seen shows that I have friends in, today I went to see another such show. The book of Liz was written by the brilliant Amy and David Sedaris who I don't know but think are awesome. The actors in this show are acceptionaly with particular mention to Lois and Amanda who just plain fucken rock in this show!
If you like whitty humour then check out this show.

Cheapskate

Last night I caught a great Fringe show, dare I say the Fringe doesn't deserve such a show, which was also brilliantly acted and set design simple but very effective.
Kudos to everyone in it.

The Magnificent Roberstons!

I saw my first Fringe Show tonight.
The Magnificent Robertsons - a kind of Dynasty.
by Lisa Brooke & Alex Kane

Now I admit I'm biased because I know half the people in this show.
I would say that you should see it just for the calibre of the cast alone.
Then if you are child of the 80's it has some great humour in it and if you are familiar with Oshwa at all you'll get even more of the humour.
