Think Wind!!

OK what the world needs now is more Wind Energy.
We have one big mother windmill here in Toronto, and I think it looks pretty snazzy. It would be great if we could rely on a resource that doesn't pollute, is cheap and non-hazzardous and doesn't force the Almighty US to police the world as they are in oil producing nations. Not that there isn't anything wrong with all this policing and forced democracy, it's just expensive I imagine and probably a pain-in-the-ass, oh yeah not to mention the death toll on both sides, but I digress.

I watched a clip on the news how some energy minister at Queen's Park was talking about using wind energy to help power the needs of the poor. Hey that's a start and then imagine if we just continued with that and used solar energy to power the needs of the rich and a combination of both to power the energy needs of the middle class.

How can we make this happen?

I like to write, so I'll do a little reserach and find out the email address to various people in our governments who you can email and say "Hey we need more Wind Energy, do something you lazy schmuck!"

Look into Iceland...the entire country is powered by water and all of the heat comes from hot springs...which makes all of the showers smell like fart. But the whole world will smell like fart if we don't all try to stop depleteing fossil fuels. Go Kyoto Accord. And on a similar note, try looking at wwww.freecyle.org - its a website where people get rid of their old stuff for free that other's might need. It saves tonnes of landfill space every year.
